Join builder and designer Garrett Charlson for a hands-on workshop to make your own bat house at The Duvall Food Forest.

Our beautiful town of Duvall is resident to many species in need of secure housing. This workshop is for people looking to build basic building skills in a class with support, to create a start-to-finish bat house for your local bats!

While Garrett guides us through basic building skills, tool basics and tool tips, and the purpose and ecology of bat houses - feel nourished with some tea and beverages made by Sarah the herbalist. There will also be a fire to roast food so BRING FIRE ROASTING FOOD if you want!

Food Forest founder and designer Jeff Davis will also be there to welcome and orient us to the space and vision of the gardens and land there. Bat stories, caretaking, and tips
