Creative Finance Q&A

The Sustainable Home Club June meetup is happening at The Grange on Tues. June 13 (sorry it’s not at the end of the month like usual- I’m going out of town! Little trip back home to Missouri to see family) :)

The theme this month is CREATIVE FINANCING because all of our good housing ideas and solutions need… money. Well, most of them. Since so many people I’ve talked to have tricky scenarios with their current housing situation, or pipe dreams that start with something like, “What I would truly love is…” or “What I really want is…” or “This could probably never happen but…” I ask you…

Could learning more about creative ways money can be leveraged be your ticket to making a realistic plan for your dream home becoming a reality?

To be clear, residential mortgages aren’t that tricky. But people and their stories are. So if a clear cut purchase for a traditional home is what you want, I can help you with that. But if you’re like me, and want a blended version of cohousing, mixed property rights and liabilities, shared farmland, and more tricky things… then we need the help of experienced lenders. This is where CMG Home Loans comes in!

We will be joined by loan officers from the Duvall office of CMG Home Loans for an open Q&A and discussion. What’s “creative” or unknown to us maybe “standard” fare in mortgage lending. Maybe you dream about an ideal home life but don’t know how it could happen… now is your time to ask questions!

Bring your questions + scenarios to this open floor to learn how creative financing might be used in the residential mortgage world to get more people into affordable home ownership. Sometimes all we need is to learn about the options that are already out there!
